Where your body leads the healing – and your subconscious finally feels safe enough to let go.
Somatic Hypnotherapy is not about “going under” or losing control.
It’s about gently guiding your brain into a relaxed, receptive state (Theta brainwaves) where deep subconscious shifts can take place—without bypassing the body.
This is where the real work happens:
🔹 When your mind slows down,
🔹 Your body feels safe,
🔹 And your inner system finally says, “We’re ready.”
Traditional hypnosis focuses on the mind.
But most of your stuck patterns – procrastination, perfectionism, shutdowns – don’t just live in your thoughts.
They live in your nervous system, your muscle memory, your breath.
This method combines the science of clinical hypnotherapy with the wisdom of your body – working with breath, imagery, and the felt sense to access the part of you that already knows how to heal.
This is not about “positive thinking” – it’s about subconscious safety and embodied reprogramming.
Clients often describe it as:
You’re awake, aware, and in control the entire time.
But you’re no longer trying to think your way into change – you’re feeling it, integrating it, and embodying it from the inside out.
Alongside these somatic energy techniques, Internal Family Systems (IFS) parts work can be integrated into sessions when helpful. This approach allows us to gently explore the internal voices and protector patterns that may be driving stress, fear, or resistance at a subconscious level.
These “parts” often form in childhood as protective strategies, and over time they can become entangled with our identity or coping mechanisms. Through a compassionate, curious lens, we can begin to dialogue with these parts, inviting them into safety, understanding their role, and offering them updated support.
When combined with somatic hypnotherapy, this process becomes even more powerful: we not only shift the nervous system but also rewire the subconscious agreements these parts have been operating under.
This creates profound integration, where clients don’t just think differently, but feel safe enough to embody those changes.
